Washington, DC – Internet Association announced today that Bo Morris has joined IA as Director of Federal Government Affairs. In this role, Morris will expand IA’s capacity to lead the internet industry in the areas of congressional education and advocacy on key policies. Morris previously worked in the office of Congressman Joe Neguse (D-CO), where he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director.

“IA is delighted to welcome Bo to the team,” said IA President and CEO K. Dane Snowden. “As IA continues to deepen its government relations influence, Bo’s policy experience and Capitol Hill knowledge will be a valuable asset.”

“Bo is an outstanding addition and will be a crucial advocate on policies that foster even greater innovation, interpersonal connection, and economic opportunity,” said Jerry Golden, IA Head of Global Government Affairs.

Morris commented, “This is an exciting time to be joining IA and the internet industry at large. There is an amazing story to be told about the connection, convenience, and community that the internet offers Americans every minute of every day. I’m eager to help empower people through a free, safe, and open internet.”

In his prior role, Morris worked closely with Congressman Neguse, House Leadership, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and the bipartisan Congressional Caucus on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
