Community associations and community association management companies have more job openings than candidates to fill the positions—much like many other industries right now. Management company executives are seeking creative ways to find talent and increase the pipeline of community managers.

As you examine the future, I encourage you to identify, recruit, attract, and motivate young professionals to our industry. We have the opportunity to engage the next generation in ways we can only imagine. Fostering future leaders is a journey, and we need to make a conscious effort to engage, improve, promote, and inspire our members.

Together, we can reach many people, and our efforts don’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. We can do it one person at a time by sharing one comment, one story, or one conversation. We have the power to change a life and turn a job into a career.

At the end of the day, I love helping people, and that’s what this business is about.

Around the world, CAI encourages employing education, sound ethics, and management cultures that inspire our professionals to succeed and allows us the opportunity to serve our businesses, clients, members, service providers, and society.

As we challenge ourselves by speaking to—and for—a broad range of people among our membership and beneficiaries, including our growing global community, have the courage to be true to your own story, share your vision, and create a plan of action. Your leadership makes the people around you better.

The people sitting next to you—regardless of who they are and what title they hold—feel, relate, and want to be moved too. It is that connection that cannot be underestimated. It is who we are.

Help me in sharing what makes community association management a great career. Let’s fill these job openings.
