If you google " authenticity at work ," you'll find that most of the posts on the first page are offering the COUNTER-point--that authenticity isn't as cool as you thought it was. You know you've achieved buzzword status when the counter culture is the status quo. Even Jeffrey Pfeffer's new book (and I highly respect Pfeffer) says, apparently , that authenticity is a mistake for leaders.

Drug Industry Groups Cut Ties With Controversial Turing Pharmaceuticals

Turing Pharmaceuticals and its CEO became a lightning rod for critics after the company hiked the price of a drug by more than 5,000 percent. Turing Pharmaceuticals, which over the past two weeks has received a flood of criticism over what many say is price gouging, is being kept at arm’s length from industry groups as well.
