New Episodes of Association Chat Start This Week!

Can we all just agree that the theme for 2021 is “Embrace Adaptability”…or something like that?

I have many personal friends and acquaintances going through a mind-numbing amount of challenges right now.

Health issues, elder care, severe weather damages, and economic instability… in my own life, I’ve experienced an EF-3 tornado, the unexpected passing of a treasured and trusted colleague, and the death of a close family member all within the past two weeks!

There’s a lot happening and not all of it is encouraging. It would be understandable to want to hide in the midst of all of this turmoil.

Nevertheless, this week at least, I won’t be hiding. Because there is work to do and some of it might actually help other people and make a small difference! How about you?

I’ve had a number of close friends either change jobs or quietly start looking for new opportunities and this is really a program I set up for them. Many folks are posting mid-level job postings, but most of my friends are more experienced.
