Best Benefit Ever: Tailored Performance Tracking

The New Jersey Credit Union League will create customized performance reports for its members.

What is it? Starting next year, the New Jersey Credit Union League will offer customized quarterly reports to its members to help them compare their performance against prior results, longer-term organizational or regulatory goals, and the performance of other credit unions. The reports will be free for current members, and NJCUL will kick things off by handing out customized year-to-date reports at its annual meeting later this month in Atlantic City.

Why it works: The new product is part of the group’s effort to offer members strategic help. “Our goal as a state league is to provide valuable and relevant solutions to our members that help them grow and be more productive,” CEO David Frankil said in a news release. “These customized reports meet both criteria, providing the information a credit union needs to assess their performance against historical benchmarks and peer groups.”

Other benefits: NJCUL offers members an array of advocacy benefits, as well as a regulatory compliance service and practical educational programs, such as a series of roundtables for credit union employees.
