We had Meetup groups in Sacramento that did something similar, but the dinners usually attracted too many people. Not so much to meet guys, although that wouldn’t have hurt, but as an easy way to hang out with new people for a few hours around a dinner table. I love that type of thing, especially when food is involved.

She was right; I loved my life in Sacramento and only returned to the east to be with my honey. When I moved to California in 2004 from Washington DC, one of my friends said I would have no problem making the adjustment because I was “bicoastal.”
