Better Decision Making with Volunteer Leaders Collaborative Workshop – Starts FEB 2!

Do you work with a House of Delegates, Board, or other body of volunteer leaders? If the answer is “YES!” then this workshop is for you.

Participants will use a facilitated “knowledge-based” approach to examine the critical issue: “How to best prepare for a future of decision-making by volunteers characterized by hybrid engagement?”

This online experience begins on February 2, 2021.

(If you can’t make it, you are welcome to invite another senior staff member or elected officer from your organization.)

Its unique purpose is twofold:

  1. Provide an opportunity for participants to use a facilitated “knowledge-based” approach to examine the critical issue: “How to best prepare for a future of decision-making by volunteers characterized by hybrid engagement?”
  2. Introduce participants to a platform specifically designed for decision-making groups like boards and committees. Supported by AI, the platform uses both asynchronous (different time/different place) and synchronous (same time/different place or same time/same place) systems to organize and document group work.

      Virtual Workshop for Association Professionals

The focus will be on decision-making by volunteers in associations. We want to talk about the challenges of decision-making in virtual or hybrid environments and potential solutions. Our primary focus will be on boards, committees, houses of delegates, executive committees, and task forces.

From February 2nd to February 13th, in collaboration with Association Chat, Howspace, and Tecker International; we are coming together in a free of charge collaborative critical issues forum that blends dialogue with knowledge-based decision making.

During this multi-phase interactive workshop, you’ll engage with a team of colleagues to solve complex problems and make useful judgments in a virtual environment.

The format of the engagement is broken down into three phases, both during two live sessions and two asynchronous periods. It should involve about 4 hours over the two-week period.
