Trade Association Advocacy and the Political Conventions

Well it’s here, the two weeks every four years when the political parties hold their nominating conventions. In DC shorthand it’s referred to as “Cleveland” or “Philadelphia” as in “are you going to Cleveland?”. The Flavor & Extract Manufacturers Association hosted a workshop in Santa Monica for food industry professionals interested in learning more about flavor creation. This was not a course for flavorists, the artists that create flavors. They have a professional society that trains and accredits them.
