In a letter to the Justice and Commerce departments and the Federal Trade Commission this week, ASAE said the sale of the.org registry to a for-profit firm risks exposing nonprofit organizations to drastically higher costs to maintain their online presence. Public Interest Registry has managed the.org domain registry since 2002.
