There are other reasons that supporters, activists and members of various organizations cannot visit DC for a fly-in.

Sunshine Week— which started as Sunshine Sunday, conceived by the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors in 2002 —was launched by ASNE in 2005. The event is open to the public.
