Learning campaigns are a new way to engage and educate your community. This concept comes from the corporate training world, but WBT Systems explains how you can tweak this idea to bring some learning buzz and momentum to your industry or profession.

Who doesn’t like low-hanging fruit? Wes Trochlil shares three examples of low-hanging fruit in data management. Grab one and feel good about yourself.

Amanda Kaiser is right. Sometimes I do feel lonely and alone. She says in her post, Your Members Feel Very Alone: “One of the first soft benefits many new members receive from their association is realizing for the first time they are not alone.” Something to think about.

“Last year, we noticed a trend at our association: A segment of longtime members was not engaging with us or renewing. We thought we knew how to respond, but what we learned surprised us, and changed our interaction with this segment of our membership.” Got my attention. Nonprofits need to consider the application for state and local sales taxes, whether they’re buying or selling goods and services. Many nonprofits are eligible for exemption from property tax, but in many jurisdictions this exemption is under challenge. The 2017 Tax Act added a new incentive for investors to fund projects and activities in low-income communities. This presentation will address topics that we are frequently asked about by clients.
