I’m always astonished when I meet someone who works for an association that doesn’t even support their professional development. That’s just ignorant. WBT Systems has some help for staff in these short-sighted associations: ideas for convincing your employer to pay for your professional development.
DelCor looked at some of the findings from the ASAE Foundation’s Tech Success for Associations study, specifically how associations rank on the IT maturity scale in four different functions: infrastructure, data management, technology management and strategy, and digital presence.
The American Institute of Graphic Arts encouraged their chapters to use Slack and it took off like gangbusters. Billhighway explains why they chose Slack and how AIGA and its chapters are using it.

- Callie Walker at MemberClicks wrote a step-by-step guide for association professionals on how to advertise on LinkedIn.
