The National Association of Broadcasters’ 2015 NAB Show offers hands-on experiences with new technologies and limitless networking and learning opportunities.

On Saturday, close to 100,000 media and entertainment professionals will gather in Vegas for the 2015 NAB Show to discover emerging technologies and the latest innovations that will take their work to the next level.

Hot topics for attendees include net neutrality and cybersecurity. FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler will address the former, while a panel that includes John McCoskey, executive vice president and chief technology officer of the Motion Picture Association of America, will discuss the latter. Here are three other broadcast-worthy highlights:

It’s a bird, it’s a plane. No, it’s a drone. The meeting’s new Aerial Robotics and Drone Pavilion includes a fully enclosed “flying cage” to give attendees an up-close look at this technology. In addition, a panel of industry experts will take attendees through all aspects of employing aerial technology, and other sessions will cover drone-related topics, including one on how to use them for newsgathering and a photography workshop.

Break a sweat. The 4K 4Charity Fun Run not only celebrates the industry’s Ultra High Definition (aka 4K) achievements but also allows participants to raise funds for global and local charities. Another bonus: Runners will get a chance to network with colleagues outside of meeting rooms and off the show floor.

Global gathering. The NAB Show will host 64 international delegations , including first-time groups from Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, Myanmar, and Pakistan. Nearly 30 percent of attendees will travel from 159 countries, and 650 exhibiting companies are headquartered outside the United States. To accommodate these global guests, the conference will have an International Trade Center that features multilingual staff to help with translation.
