The weekly list of free educational events for the association community…
AI is definitely coming soon to associations, in fact, many associations already use AI-powered software to serve and engage members. Tim Ebner at Associations Now shares three ways AI is helping associations make an impact.
AI’s a pretty exciting topic, isn’t it? I finally have a handle on the different types of AI and how AI works thanks to rasa.io decoding AI and its language for me. Now what about mobile apps, particularly event apps? I can speak that language too because of this post on event app basics from the folks at Eventpedia.
I sometimes wonder if LinkedIn’s business model is: let’s do what associations do except we’ll put more money behind it and try to do it better. Their online education platform is growing and now they’ve introduced LinkedIn Career Advice: “a new way to help you find and connect with professionals for mentorship.” If you haven’t looked over LinkedIn lately as part of your market research, it’s time you do.
How do you compete in online education if you only have a tiny budget? You’ve got to get creative and use what you have, says WBT Systems, to build up your online learning library.
At the recent Association Component Exchanges (CEX) hosted by Billhighway and Mariner Management, Jennifer Rowell from the North Carolina Association of CPAs (yay, NC!) and Lindsay Currie from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society shared 15 ways to reinvigorate your chapters and improve the success of your chapter network.
Finally, what you came here for: this week’s list of free professional development for the association community. If your organization has a webinar scheduled in the near future, please send me the link. I’ll be happy to feature it as long as it’s not too product-centric.
