The 2018 COAA Fall Owners Leadership Conference begins Wednesday with education sessions and a welcome from COAA leaders. In the evening, attendees will get to mix and mingle at the opening reception. Also on the agenda:

Become an influencer. Jody Urquhart, motivational speaker and author of All Work & No Say, will deliver the meeting’s keynote address on Thursday morning. She’ll talk about how great leaders can inspire and influence others and create a culture of respect and appreciation.

Explore local sights. Attendees can sign up for a one-hour private guided architecture tour of the exterior of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. Completed in 1965 and now designated a historic site, the facility features open, unobstructed laboratory interiors set in a dramatic location, which is said to inspire creativity among researchers.

Learn from other attendees. The Owner’s Roundtable is an unstructured discussion that allows for professional-to-professional sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned.
