The weekly list of free professional development events for the association community…
Only 10% of Americans love cooking. Sure, “love” is a tougher bar to reach than “like,” but that stat still surprises me, probably because I love cooking, usually. Now the grocery industry has to figure out how to adapt their business to this new reality. Which brings up a question for every organization: How are your customers changing their behavior (or how will they), and how will that impact your industry? What will customers no longer do for themselves in the future? What do they rely on others to do now that technological change will allow them to do themselves in the future?
WBT Systems spots some disappointing news about association e-learning programs in Association Learning + Technology, a recently released report from Tagoras.
Dan Lautman from DelCor Technology Solutions identifies four key tools every association IT department must have.
Meet the world’s first Tech Ambassador, Casper Klynge from Denmark. His key roles are: building partnerships with tech companies; shaping their opinions; spotting new trends; and overhauling the Danish Foreign Ministry. We could use someone like this—I worry that our politicians and federal executives are woefully uninformed about technology.
Charlotte Muylaert from Billhighway makes a guest appearance on the Aptify blog to share ten great ideas for chapters that her team discovered at ASAE Annual.
I’ve seen some of my clients get bummed out when a good customer won’t participate in a case study, usually because the association has control freaks in charge. Since the last time this happened, I developed a tip sheet for my clients to help them get that “yes,” but this Content Marketing Institute shares some good advice too.
If your organization has a webinar scheduled in the near future, please send me the link. I’ll be happy to feature it as long as it’s not too product-centric.
