Typically, a MOOC features a course syllabus, in this case, a ten-week lesson plan with assigned reading (poems), instructor-created video content, discussion forum, peer-reviewed writing assignments, and quizzes.

In fact, I took my first graduate class as a lifelong learner because it was so much cheaper. That said, associations should capitalize on technology, not shy away from it. At the same time, technology provides incredible tools to measure the effectiveness of your association’s lifelong learning opportunities.
