Other states, such as California and Connecticut, do not permit associations to restrict the display of political flags. State laws in Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, and Washington prevent restrictions on the display of state flags. In addition, Colorado is currently considering a bill that could impact flag restrictions in homeowners associations.
