'Employers Value EQ Over IQ The results of Six Seconds’ study on emotional intelligence provide further evidence of a trend among employers in recent years. A 2011 survey done by CareerBuilder.com found that 71 percent of hiring managers said they value emotional intelligence (EQ) in an employee more than IQ.
