What Can Be Done to Fight the COVID-19 Surge in Florida?
On Thursday, August 12, Justin Senior, CEO of the Florida Safety Net Hospital Alliance, which represents some of the largest hospitals in the state caring for high numbers of low-income patients, will join KiKi L’Italien on the Association Chat Podcast to discuss the fight to stop the current COVID-19 surge in Florida.
Justin Senior was named Chief Executive Officer for the Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida effective January 7, 2019.
Before joining the Safety Nets, Senior served as the Secretary at Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration, from October 2016 to January 2019. Additionally, Mr. Senior served as Florida’s Medicaid Director from 2011 to 2016, overseeing the procurement, implementation, and operation of Florida’s Statewide Medicaid Managed Care program.
The Safety Net Hospital Alliance of Florida advocates on behalf of Florida’s 14 safety net hospital systems located in the most densely populated areas, yet with clinics and transfer agreements covering Florida’s rural communities and coast to coast.
