The North American Bikeshare Association’s 2019 Conference begins next week in Indianapolis. Attendance is expected exceed 300.

More than 300 bikeshare and shared micromobility and transportation leaders, practitioners, and equipment providers are headed to Indianapolis to learn, network, and chart the future of the industry.

Organization: North American Bikeshare Association (NABSA)

Meeting: 2019 NABSA Conference

Venue: Hyatt Regency

City: Indianapolis

Following an evening reception on Monday, NASBA 2019 starts Tuesday morning with a keynote by author and award-winning “placemaker” Jay Pitter. She’ll discuss her work spearheading institutional city-building projects that are rooted in neighborhood knowledge and focused on things like cultural heritage, gender-based mapping, and inclusive public engagement. Also on the agenda:

Celebrate the year. During Rapid Fire Slide Show, NABSA members can share quick hits of their greatest accomplishment or challenge over the past year. They have one slide and one minute each to tell their story.

On the move. Mobile Workshops give attendees the opportunity to get out and explore bikeshare, shared micromobility, and infrastructure in the host city with a local. Options include riding the IndyGo Bus or taking a ride on Pacers Bikeshare.

Top topics. Three Guided Discussion sessions will allow attendees to dive deep into topics and issues that are important to the industry. These interactive workshops will hit on pricing strategy, shared mobility principles for cities, and Vision Zero goals.
