Forget robots, keep your eye on old people—they’ll help companies thrive, says Tyler Cowen. No surprise. Many Boomers can’t afford to retire and they’ve got lots of wisdom and life experience yet to contribute.
Because those Boomers will likely need to update their skills at some point, associations shouldn’t write them off any time soon. Figure out what your aging members need so they turn to you first for education.
Fast Company says email is the next great media platform. Since email is my main source of news and intellectually stimulating reads, I believe it’s already a great media platform. FC writes about new tools that make editorial newsletters easier to produce and more enjoyable to read.
Once again, DelCor is making the IT department’s job easier by providing a comprehensive employee termination IT checklist—all the things you have to take care of when an employee is fired or quits. Keep it by the cardboard boxes.
If your content marketing isn’t producing the results you expected, you may need to address one of the five issues described by TechHQ. I’ve seen companies struggle because of #4: they don’t create a marketing ecosystem around their content. They think if they publish it, somehow the audience will find it. It doesn’t work that way.
