Twelve Association Scholars Named to ASAE’s 2022-2024 DELP 2.0 Class

WASHINGTONASAE has announced the selection of 12 scholars for the 2022-2024 Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP), the first class since the DELP program was redesigned to better align with ASAE’s new strategic framework and Conscious Inclusion strategy.

Numerous DELP stakeholders contributed to the evolution of DELP 2.0, which strengthens and adds structure to some of the most valuable benefits of the program including mentoring and community building.

DELP is a two-year program that supports individuals from under-represented identity groups to advance into the ranks of leadership in the association management profession. DELP scholars participate in an accelerated leadership program of education, mentoring and volunteer service in the association community.

“Congratulations to the members of the 2022-2024 DELP class,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “These deserving association professionals will be the first to take advantage of a new range of benefits designed to strengthen their leadership development and their experience with ASAE. Through our Conscious Inclusion strategy, DELP and the recently announced ReadyMe Program launching this summer, ASAE is helping to develop motivated leaders to enhance the success of the broader association community.”

ASAE thanks the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau for its ongoing support of the DELP program for more than 20 years. DMCVB’s steadfast support of DELP has enabled the development of more than 200 diverse association leaders in the community.
