Conference Circuit: International Sign Expo

The International Sign Association’s 2019 International Sign Expo begins next week in Las Vegas. Attendance is expected to exceed 20,000.

More than 20,000 sign, graphics, print, and visual communications professionals are headed to Law Vegas next week to learn from experts, conduct business, and get up to speed on the current issues affecting the industry.

Following preconference workshops and the ISA board meeting, ISA Sign Expo will officially start with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday morning. Also on the agenda:

Questions answered. Attendees can stop by the Sign Code Help Desk to get all their questions related to sign regulations and standards answered by ISA experts. Even better: This service is provided free of charge.

Women executives. Women Leading the Industry, a new initiative launched by ISA with Sign Builder Illustrated, will hold its inaugural event during the expo. “WLI – The Female Leader: Passion, Empowerment, and Confidence” will feature a panel of leaders discussing solutions to the issues that challenge women in the industry.

Express learning. Lounge & Learn sessions are 30-minute express education modules on the show floor that will cover current issues and hot topics. Scheduled modules include marketing in a digital world, identifying and selecting fonts, and how to win clients and influence sign regulators.
