“A” or “The: Precise Language Important for Association Communications

Clearly, this was not the only Confederate flag owned by the State of South Carolina. And, I’ve seen lots of association newsletters and other communications with confusing and/or poorly written language. Do you take time to have your words reviewed by editors and proofreaders? Thus, saying “The flag” is imprecise.
