Is There a Better Way to Use Your Video Content?

Ever come across an association that didn’t have a surplus of content?

Me either.

Lately, this content includes more and more valuable video content that doesn’t get as many views as the people responsible for collecting it (and paying for it) would like. But how do we make it easier to monetize, learn from, and otherwise use our videos efficiently?

For this “Try This Tech” episode, I talked with Humphrey Chen, the co-founder and CEO CLIPr.ai. He used to be the Head of Amazon’s Computer Vision Key Initiatives to help developers see and hear at scale.

What is CLIPr?

CLIPr is what’s called a video analysis and management (VAM) platform using AI and machine learning to help users quickly identify key moments within video content, enabling them to organize, search, interact and share with ease and efficiency.

CLIPr’s machine learning algorithms analyze audio and visual cues, indexing uploaded video content into topics that users select to create recaps of only the video moments that matter to them.

I asked Humphrey why association execs really needed to know about this technology and we had an excellent conversation that got me thinking about all the ways we can use our video better. I was SO impressed, in fact, that I started experimenting with using CLIPr for Association Chat content less than 24 hours after talking with Humphrey. (Watch this space with more examples from that work to come!)

Sample of a CLIPr.ai video after it has had its AI bots do their work…a past interview I did with Michelle Mason discussing DE&I in associations.
