National Association of Social Workers Opposes New Ruling Removing Anti-Discrimination Protections

The National Association of Social Workers is opposing the controversial change to the Code of Conduct for Social Workers in Texas.
The recent change, led by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, allows Texas social workers to turn away clients who are LGBTQ or have a disability.

NASW is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world.

You can join a press conference hosted by NASW Texas on the TSBSWE Code of Conduct ruling Friday, Oct. 23, 12-1pm CDT.

The Press Conference will feature Texas legislators and advocacy organization leaders voicing opposition to the ruling by TSBSWE to remove anti-discrimination protections.
