Closing the Office vs. Working From Home

If the Milwaukee Public Schools closed (which they did three or four times a year, and usually with at least night-before advance warning) then our office would close, too. Today, everyone had a company laptop and most had blazing fast home internet connections (the better to watch streaming video services with).

Looking Back From a Feeling of Triumph

In her case, those things are drawing in her sketchbook, composing music and coding online, and playing video games with her friends. On Friday of this past week I had a business meeting in downtown Milwaukee. My daughter likes her piano and her violin, but like a lot of kids her age, there are other things she likes even more.
