I used Emeril’s Essence , Old Bay and ground red New Mexican chile for spices, a mix of Ritz, Saltine and roasted garlic wasa crackers, and cilantro instead of parsley. But if you like crab cakes and you like fish, what’s not to like? We loved these flounder cakes —a NYT recipe by Sam Sifton, but the link goes to an archive site.
