New Year’s Day is Jim’s birthday, so I made one of his favorites (and mine), coq au vin with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli, again. On Christmas morning, I made brioche French toast. I’m looking forward to the leftovers in the freezer. Lightening things up, finally, we had blackened red drum one night.
