Summer is a hectic time for everyone, crammed full of vacations, kids’ summer camps, conferences and work (when you can fit it in). But just because you can’t go on a beach-reading vacation doesn’t mean you should temporarily stop learning. (Remember: you should try to go on some sort of vacation !). Trade Association Advocacy and the Political Conventions

In DC shorthand it’s referred to as “Cleveland” or “Philadelphia” as in “are you going to Cleveland?”. There’s been a wave of reporting recently about trade associations and corporations reducing their investments in convention activities, particularly the Republican one this week in Cleveland.
