Old Rules, New Target The Federal Communications Commission is taking its own approach to internet privacy in the wake of the ISP rules repeal. The commission announced it would rely on vintage telephone system rules, implemented as part of the Communications Act of 1934, to allow for partial re-regulation of ISPs on the privacy issue.
