From Newspapers to Associations With public policy debate heating up on the beverage front, the association that represents the industry is bringing in a heavy hitter to help out. A study from Stanford University found that a proposed ban on purchasing sugary drinks with food stamps would cut the obesity rate among people ages 18 to 65.
