Spring Hill College is a liberal arts school located in my hometown, Mobile, Alabama. It’s the oldest college in Alabama, the first Catholic college in the Southeast, and the third oldest Jesuit college in the United States. I’m looking forward to getting reacquainted with the school and helping them with their recruiting efforts.

Launching a chapter network has helped PEN America, a literary organization with almost 100 years of history, recruit new members and reinvent opportunities for member engagement at the local level. This process helped Werner and her team identify the first six chapters. In a nutshell, they went where the action was.

In a radio interview several years ago, football broadcaster and NFL Hall of Famer Dan Dierdorf was asked why Ohio State, Michigan and other Big 10 teams were not winning football games on the national stage.
