If you read the news and study trends, you may already be aware that there is a great deal of change underway in the K-12 and post-secondary system in the United States. As I was reading The Washington Post online earlier this week, I came across this headline: “ Smithsonian Makes Deal to Offer Online Courses.” Of course, it piqued my interest being that it falls under the umbrella of topics I cover in this blog. The courses will be targeted toward college-educated lifelong learners at a fee of $89.95
