Going by that definition, I’d say the association world definitely has something to worry about. Continuing education --I am no expert in continuing education, but I know enough to know that some professions require a certain number of CE hours per year or other term to maintain certification or other professional credentials.

For those of us creating and providing lifelong learning, continuing education, and professional development, if we can help the adult learners we serve be better learners, they’ll learn more, they’ll apply more, and they’ll be more likely to return to us for more educational offerings.
