Let’s let him tell the story: We called ahead that morning before our flight from Chicago to San Diego and got the green light about the conference being held, so some of us left in advance. We had board meetings and committee meetings that weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We lost about 500 rooms in less than a day.
