The Tennessee bill is among many that associations, along with corporations, have recently spoken out about.

When my husband’s grandfather settled on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee, in the late 1960s, he didn’t have a lot of money. So, my husband’s grandfather proposed a trade, and that’s how the dentist came to own a good horse, and my husband’s grandfather came to own a good set of dentures. A few examples: Increased training: The number of school resource officers—on-campus security personnel—has risen to the highest level seen since the 1999 shooting at Columbine High School in Colorado, the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) says. Associations have taken part in many of these efforts.
