Amid Rural Broadband Weak Spots, Nonprofits Offer Last-Mile Help

The Federal Communications Commission reported earlier this year that 41 percent of Americans on tribal lands don’t have access to broadband. SCTCA’s Tribal Digital Village program has been active since 2001 and has connected more than half of tribal lands in San Diego County to broadband.
