On Friday the 13th of September 1996, my co-workers and I were called into a conference room and handed pink slips. Here’s an example from my experience. Pre-COVID, we had a program called the Milwaukee Kitchen Cabinet. My wife was expecting our third child in three years. But COVID reinforced that lesson.
