When there is a great conference, training program, research report, or other fantastic resource people talk. The okay conference that most attend to get credit will not get much positive word of mouth. Neither will the social receptions that are fun but not meaningful or the articles that are a dime a dozen.

It starts when another member recommends the association and continues as each prospective member samples the association’s benefits by attending a chapter meeting or browsing the website or reading an article. Once a new member joins, the trust continues to build as they interact and receive value.
