10K The minimum number of views that video-makers will need before YouTube puts its ads on their page. The restriction is designed to minimize exposure to potentially troublesome material. The company said it would also implement a review process for adding new creators to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). “After a creator hits 10K lifetime views on their channel, we’ll review their activity against our policies,” the Google-owned company stated in a blog post.
