I was delighted to attend the launch of PARN’s 2014 ‘ Professional Body Sector Review ’last week. However, the report says the professional bodies that responded in their survey identified: India. It was hosted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in its 5 th floor conference suite; the views over the Thames were amazing.

The latest Fundraising Effectiveness Project survey revealed that less than half of charitable donors contributed to the same organization two years in a row. Between 2013 and 2014, charities gained $3.611 billion in gifts from new, current, or previously lapsed donors. Base another round of budgetary allocations according to that ROI.

The State of Association Marketing ,” unveiled this week during ASAE’s annual conference in Detroit, summarizes the marketing efforts of 373 survey respondents, mostly comprising membership associations. Key findings: 73 percent of survey respondents rate their overall association marketing as somewhat or very effective.

The study, which analyzed “shrinkage” in the retail space, found that retail outlets lost $44 billion in 2014—from shoplifting, employee theft, vendor theft, or administrative errors.
